My daughter has a fine tree of this, but, like Bjs, the flowers are very fleeting and the pink colour even more so. Still, it is a very fine tree.

Mine was in flower for about a week this year as well - the weather was hot and sunny at the time so that probably contributed to the short display

Lovely Andrew - yes, mine bloomed for just 10 days (3 weeks last year) . . . I blame the lack of rain!

Lovely but my flowers lasted less than a week this year and the ripe berrys last even less,the blackbirds love them
