It's a funny old plant, 6d. It's a biennial - but only dies in the second year if it has flowered. If it hasn't it does a mini-perennial thing. It's about 7ft tall and the stems are candied for cake making. If you put a leaf in with rhubarb when you are cooking it you need less than half the normal amount of sugar - great stuff!!

Its great to actually see it in growth Wagger, I`d only seen it before as a decoration on Moms fairy cakes.
