I'm going to plant the seeds..maybe some day,pick one.
You should have seen the whole ones 24" long or more and many pounds in weight. Like a medium sized dog in weight.

This one is a bit on the old side..but I really bought it for the seeds.
When seedling Jackfruit are still growing the immature foliage- its lobed and very ornamental.
Then,-too bad- it follows with adult foliage,a generic oblong leaf.
Still,a nice dark green if happy.

The seeds usually germinate quickly. It's such a beautiful tropical tree!
I posted a photo for you of the Jackfruit tree two miles from my house. I think it has fruit on it.

Looks like a hedgehog Stan. I've never seen one of these before. Like you, sometimes I buy fruit just for the seeds, just to see if you can get them to grow.
