Yes Leigh - it's common name is False Goats Beard, similar to an Astilble. They like moist soil - this is a dwarf one so it's growing at the front of my pond.
To be honest - I much prefer the foliage to the flowers :)
It will grow on me I'm sure :)))

I must say the foliage is lovely. i love red and green foliage like spirea and pieris-i might put that on my ideas page in my notebook- different green and red foliage patch :o)
