Begonia grandis evansiana is so slow to come into leaf that each year I fear I have lost it. I have had the original for over 15 years.

So pleased. When you put it in the garden label it's position well, it is so very slow to restart growing each year. Also I put a cover of dry chips over it in the winter, as I do with my Alstroemerias. A position with shade seems ideal. It does well as a seasonal pot plant.
