I agree, what a pity it is so short lived!

Stunning!

I suppose it's like Hemerocallis or Cistus - it doesn't really matter that each flower lives only one day...as long as more open! It is a fabulous plant, and I can't wait to get it planted. :-))

Gorgeous!!!
I have seven plants (from seed) at the moment but they are nowhere near to flowering!!!

Good luck with them! :-))

Thank you....I will post a picture as soon as a flower appears!!! (can't wait)

It'll be interesting to see how long they take before they get to flowering size - also, what variations in colour you get! :-)

Yes......date of seeds sown to date first flower appears. I think I need some more patience.

We all need a dose of that, Alexandra! lol.

Oh yes, now I see what you mean....this is really lovely! What a wonderful colour!

Thanks. I'm glad you like it! I spotted packets of seeds in the adverts on the right - I might get some. ;-)

I am never going to overcome my plant buying addiction if all you GOYers keep posting photos of fantastic looking plants like this one! Yet another one to add to my wanted list......

21 Jul, 2011

It isn't something you can overcome. :-((

22 Jul, 2011

I agree....it just gets worse.

Spritz did you grow Freckle Face from seed..!!

23 Jul, 2011

Hmmmmm....no. <blush> Now I know that seeds are available, I might grow some more, though - or try to collect the seeds off this plant if I can.

This thread is from almost a year ago - how did yours do, Spritz? My seeds have only just germinated, and I'm not sure where or when to plant them!

I'm really ashamed - I haven't looked to see if it's still there, and of course I wasn't well enough to collect seeds last autumn. I'll see if it's on its way back when the rain stops.
