Bessera elegans

meanie

By Meanie

Bessera elegans (Bessera elegans (Coral drops))

One of the finds of the year!
I think that they would have done far better if we'd had a proper summer though.......

Thank you Lulu!

Your plants look much nicer Meanie away from the black background. Please continue this way....

i like this background but i also like the black ~ perhaps it depends on the plant?

Two more for you to look at on dark backgrounds Vavilla........

This is better on a light background Sticki because there's more in the shot.

so lighter background for busier shot?

Pro flash equipment would have made the Iris shot better by getting rid of the shadows.

I hadnt noticed them,
Makes me realise what a long way I have to go in taking nice photos!

Saw them Meanie.....I presume one is Iris or is it?
The other one I am clueless.....
Why no names Meanie.......
Very clear in every detail.........if it is Iris does it have a nice smell? Or is it a lily of some kind? We here are not familiar with flowers like these unless one is living in the hill country. I am living on flat ground down to earth!

You're correct - it is a dwarf Iris, not highly scented.
The other one is Alstromeria psitticina, a beautiful plant from South America.

I don't know what is going on here - I just posted a reply and it came up as being from Iciar!!!!!!!!!
