Bismarckia nobilis - Bismarck Palm

This palm was planted as a very small sapling more than 10 years ago...it's finally starting to develop a nice trunk. Photo taken in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. on April 4, 2012.

Bismarck palm is pretty common these days. There's many tall, large trees in California.
