Yes Sarah these first flowers opened yesterday.
I had loads of duckweed in this small pond last year and yes its starting to appear already, just had to keep fishing it out with a net, don't know if there's any other way, the larger back garden pond didn't have any last year though, strange.
May ask on gardening questions, never know someone may have a solution :-)

Thanks Kathy - my pond is tiny and it seemed I was netting it out one day and it was back just as think the next!! I'm being very diligent this spring, netting out each and every tiny peice as soon as I spot them! It's war lol

Thanks Homebird flowers seem much bigger than the yellow one.
My job for today (again) duckweed, ours came on some plants given to us by a friend too, never had it before.
