This is pretty, what soil/conditions does it like?

Hi Drc. I put it in a semi shaded bed, as I was told that full sun bleaches the colour out. The soil is a mix of general compost a last year I put a bit of manure in as it's a raised bed so need to keep topping it up as they drain quite well. Will see if it comes back next year as spectacularly as it's first show. V impressed that slugs don't seem to touch it :-)
