Yes Joannie they are. I don't think I've ever seen a yellow scabious. Shame you didn't buy it. Have you researched the seed catalogues?

What a excellent shot, I wouldn't have guessed the blooms had so many different shades of pink in them !

Thanks Flcrazy, it is an exquisite flower. It looks different again now, more like candy floss. I might post another pic when I've checked how todays photos turned out.

Aren't scabious beautiful. My mum used to have a big bed of these when I was little but hers were yellow. I've only ever seen 1 yellow plant since having a garden of my own and have forever regretted not buying it!!
