Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Fernspray Gold'

Now that I have it in a sunnier spot, the gold color is coming back. I was afraid it wouldn't make it through the summer with the hot/dry weather we had but it looks pretty good. I just wish I knew what to do with all the damn river rock, maybe I will just bury it under some mulch.

It does look much better now. My biggest concern with Hinoki cypress is sometimes they brown badly during winter. Hopefully I have them pretty well sheltered so that won't be a problem.
