They do better than just good. lol! This palm naturalizes here in California. It's an extremely common palms here.

I have never seen a clump like this growing in th UK, even at Kew they are grown as single specimens and usually in pots. Palms that were left outside last winter suffered badly from the hard frosts and snow. I am still thinking of trying one in a pot in my own garden.
