Clematis integrofolia, 'olgae'

Clematis integrofolia, 'olgae' (Clematis integrifolia Olgae)

A nice closeup of this little one, now its second year. It has come back and done well all summer long nestled inthis bed of yellow bidens.

love the shape of these as well as the colour...still waiting for my yellow fall clems...a friend in the states (lower) just sent me a pic of his fall blooming clem...it's white and scented too...does this one have a scent?

thank you Lori. This one has the most lovely twist to all the flowers. Like dancing. None of mine have smell. Wouldn't that be wonderful. I'm limited enough as it is with the clems that I can grow. Is your yellow Clem tangutica? I put in two this year, and they are coming into bloom just as the cold is creeping in. The garden was late this year, I hope to see flowers start of August next year, not start of September.

same here Gt.... yes they are tangutica. I keep checking but the weather people are talking first frost...so I'm not too optimistic.

The buds that formed have taken a month to get some yellow. I've got four blooms, but that cold could hit any day, almost overdue now really. So I know exactly what your saying. I'm wondering if it will come sooner next year, once it has grown in a little.

I know, the end is staring us down. We are enjoying the second indian summer in a row. It should be freezing nightly and preparing for the first blanket of white. That comes first week of September sometimes. I'm counting my luck every day. Sending a little break of warm sunshine your way.

Thank you Gt... the day temps are in the 60's which is ok..but it's going down to minus 3 and has hovered around zero (Celsius) for the last three nights. Lost my dahlias last night, they were just getting started. boo hoo... I hope we don't see snow until November (usual)...had my share of early winter when we lived in Northern Ontario.
