I thought I'd lost this after last winter but, after a late start, it has made six feet of growth again this year

I bought 'Helios' because it is supposed to only grow to six feet but no-one told this one - it usually makes ten feet in a season

Mine swamp anything in their path - even though I cut them right back to ground level every year!

I didn't know this could be struck down, Andrew - mine must be a different cultivar, I think - they are in rude health and grow at least 12' each year - I didn't plant them, so I can't say exactly what they are. Not 'Bill McKenzie', anyway.
