Now Ive just planted a wee one of this in a pot with Princess of Wales..I do hope they survive the winter. Nice to see one home grown. Me, I had enough latin at college, prefer to call it Purple Veins (matches my varicose very nicely!) Hope you dont get put off with that remark. I like it very much

So do I - but it doesn't behave well for me. Most of the buds dry up! :-(((

As for Princess of Wales - she flowered beautifully last year, but this year she's decided to disappear into a Viburnum tinus bush.

I must remember to keep the pot well watered. Luckily it seems Roses and Clems in pots need the same sort of treatment, so Im already in training!
