My Butterfly Bush seems to have done nothing but grow this year, but finally got into full bloom about a month ago.

Very nice Meanie! First time I am seeing this plant. First time I am seeing one without the background blank too. But then, what I have seen in this world can be written on my fingernail.
Would like to see more like this away from the botany angle Meanie. More natural. I had something called the butterfly plant which had leaves somewhat similar to butteflies. Two varieties one brownish maroon if there is a color like that and the other lime green and brown mixed.
Didn't like either but when you are selling people go for various plants.....

I'm sooooo happy, my Clerodendrum Ugandense is going to bloom any day now!!!!! It has really grown! Do you keep your plant indoors in the winter?

It will not take a frost Alex, so yes - I have too. All three of them! Plus several cuttings too!
Karen - there are several tropical Clerodendrums that you could have as well!

Meanie:
It's looking great! Typically, it blooms all year, here. It's good you put it outside in full sun, as it need full sun to bloom.

Alexandramou:
Your plant should grow very well outdoors, all year. Clerodendron ugandense is a very hardy shrub. It will tolerate freezing temps and come back very quickly.
When I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area, in Dec. of 1990 we experienced the worst freeze ever recorded in history ...and this plant froze to the major branches...and came back strong in spring.

This hasn't bloomed as early as previous years, although this summer was exceptionally crap!

Meanie:
The last two summers have been very strange! Maybe next year it'll get back to normal. Although, I don't think we've had as unusual weather as where you live.
The last 5 days it's only been 81ºF/27ºC., typically it's much hotter this time of year, here.
