Beautiful Tasteyg... What is it ?

I wish I knew what it was. My grandma's neighbor is growing it on a trellis and it's beautiful. I'll have to ask her, if I see her in the yard. My uncle knows a lot about plants and his best guess was that it was some sort of passiflora vine. The flowers don't look all that similar, but the flower pod before it blooms looks very much like a passion flower pod.

Mike-
It's called a Cup and Saucer vine or Cobaea Scanden. I love this website!

I'm jealous Amy... I'd love to grow this one, but I haven't seen seeds or the plant for sale. I'll have to ask my grandma's neighbor to save me some seeds :)

It looks as if you have to grow them as an annual so you would have to save the seed from one year to the next .
I hope you can get some seed off your grandma,s neighbor if not and I have some seed on mine this year I will send you some for next year if you would like some ... :o)

I would love some of your seeds, that would make the plant extra special Amy. I'll send you my address via PM :) Thank you very much.

Wonderful photos. They make the flowers jump out of the screen. Cup and saucer vine, I love that.

Thanks Dorjac :) I've been looking for this plant since I took this picture, a little over a year now. Amy, a sweet GoY member actually sent me seeds to grow it and after 2 tries w no success, I'm feeling a little frustrated.
