Coffea arabica - Coffee Plants

This is nothing. The coffee trees at the San Diego Zoo have literally hundreds of seedlings under their large coffee trees (they look almost like grass).

...and I would be walking away with a pocket full of seeds. ;o)

The leaves look very shiny.

You could make quite a bit of coffee with all the coffee cherries from the S.D. Zoo trees. :>)

When I first looked at the leaves, I thought rain had recently fallen on them....

Yes, that's what I hear. I don't drink coffee...I usually give the coffee cherries away or let them fall to the ground.

I always have family, friends wanting coffee plants...so they're given away. The snail don't bother my large coffee or the coffee cherries. They love to eat the small coffee seedlings, though.

Yes Delonix plant some more trees....remember I drink lots and lots of coffee. ;o)))

Snails are our worst enemy here, especially in Winter.

Outdoors in pots? They die on me. Put them in ground?..do great..slow,but great. I guess if I moved it into more sun it would pick up speed.

They do tend to do much better in the ground. During drought conditions they do look very good at all, though.

I'm still hoping my large tree will come back strong and look like it used to look a few years back.

Nice to see you plant them up they look really healthy.

I gave these seedlings away many years ago. I do have some that popped up this year, though.

Thats great you have more for your self kind of you giving these away.
