No, not a shame. lol!

I gave all the coffee cherries to a former GoY member here in San Diego. He can enjoy the beans and make his couple of cups of coffee with the seeds (coffee beans). :>)

They do look similar to cranberries. However, cranberries don't grow here (as far as I know). Most cranberries grow in the Northeastern U.S.

They look great what a harvest but I did have a good giggle at your comment above I felt like Jaun Valdez in Columbia picking all these
The adverts over here of coffee beans being picked by the kids there are the kids on drugs to get them off drugs. ?

I do miss my large coffee tree! :>((
Luckily, I have some new seedlings from my old tree.

I think my coffee tree took 5 years before it started flowering.

Yes, definitely patients...I think if a coffee plant is planted directly into the ground it takes 3 years for it flower.
