A ton of coffee cherries in a huge container. I felt like Jaun Valdez in Columbia picking all these coffee berries. lol! Photo taken Aug. 7, 2011. Posted for Alexandramou in Greece.

No, not a shame. lol!
I gave all the coffee cherries to a former GoY member here in San Diego. He can enjoy the beans and make his couple of cups of coffee with the seeds (coffee beans). :>)

They do look similar to cranberries. However, cranberries don't grow here (as far as I know). Most cranberries grow in the Northeastern U.S.

The adverts over here of coffee beans being picked by the kids there are the kids on drugs to get them off drugs. ?

Thats what gardening is all about patuents you will have joy at the end while watching it grow.

Yes, definitely patients...I think if a coffee plant is planted directly into the ground it takes 3 years for it flower.
