lol...lol...mine is soooo small compared to this. One day I may have my own beans for a cup of coffee ;o/

I'm sure you will. My tall coffee tree is looking horrible! I'm not sure what's wrong with it. There's almost a hundred seedlings growing under it, though.

You have nothing to worry about then. "a hundred seedlings"!!!
Maybe the funny weather we've been having??? I can't believe how hot it is for the last day of September here!!!
The good thing is that it really cools down nicely in the evenings.

I don't think my coffee tree is in jeopardy of dying...however, it does look pretty bad. I can't figure out why.

Yes, lots of coffee seedlings. This is the first time I've ever seen the seedlings pop up in summer...typically, they germinate in winter.

I can't believe how cool the weather has been here! It was 83ºF/28ºC. here today, but it's been cooler. The weather this time of year is usually very, very hot...many times hotter than 95ºF/35ºC. This weekend we're getting possibly rain from former hurricane Hillary...and next week rain from a power cold front...which is pretty much unheard of this time of year. I'll see if it all actually comes to be true.

Lucky you. We're due for another heat wave next week. I hope that isn't true!!!

Posted a pic of my Coffee plant for you to see.

We have just had the hottest October day since records began here in the UK. The weather seems to be playing tricks on us all.

Rbtkew, my cousin text me and told me the temp in London was 26C. I'm kind of scared of what winter might have in store for us....or not.

Alexandramou:

I'll check it out.

We never received any rain from former hurricane Hilary...and it was 90ºF/32º here. By this coming Wednesday the temps inland are suppose to be down to 72ºF/22ºC. , which is our normal temp for middle Dec.

Rbtkew, Alexandramou:

Yes, I heard (on our news) the UK was experiencing a big heatwave. I actually smiled a little...because to me a big heatwave here is temps more than 100ºF/ 38ºC. It's all relative, though. :>)

Is this in sunlight? I might have taken to heart the shade I thought they needed.
Mine now is years in the ground.16" slow.

This one gets full sun. During part of the day it may get some dappled sun, though. There's a couple of trees around it. My large tree is in full sun...it has never burned, although, it looked much better when it was shaded by the afternoon sun by my neighbor's now dead Oleanders.
