This is my coffee tree in fruit. This plant is very productive, usually it has 3 stages of fruit. Unfortunately, it it not the clearest picture.
The plant stands 6.5 feet tall. This picture was taken July 27, 2008.

Sometimes, I eat the fruit...they are sweet and are called cherries and taste somewhat like a sweet cherry. The skin is a little tough though.
Most of the time I let the seeds germinate under the tree...the snails love to eat the seedling though.

I've never seen a coffee tree before.
Interesting.
What do you do with the fruits?
