Coronilla valentina glaucus citrina

By Siris

Coronilla valentina glaucus citrina (Coronilla Valentina glauca)

This shrub has been flowering since Feb, and has grown well. It's still in a pot as I've not found an empty spot in which to plant it in. To the left is Vinca Jenny Pym? in a hanging basket because it runs badly.

I got one after seeing Karen's, still little but hoping it will flower for months like yours.

Dawn that's exactly what I did, saw, Karen's a couple of years ago, got this one Feb 2019, potted it on and it's increased in size and flowered continuously since purchase, a brilliant plant.

Mine hasn't flowered yet but it's growing nicely, I'm going to keep it in a pot near the house for winter colour.

Had ours about five years, it doesn't seem to stop flowering, we have pruned it three times in the last 3 months, and it is still going, it does make a large shrub ladies!!

Is yours in the ground Dotty.

Yes Dawn, it has always been in the garden.....

Thank you, I think I'll let it establish in a pot so I can have by the house, then plant in the ground if it gets too big, so by pruning you dosen't lose flowers?

It hasn't stopped this one, it was smothering several small shrubs, make sure you give it plenty of room not a problem for you lol(•‿•), ours is a cutting from the original plant, it became too large for its spaceಠ ೧ ಠ......will get OH to take another cutting and start again......

Love your emojis :-)
When mine gets going I'll try a cutting too, they sound invaluable

Dawn I love a good emoji!!! I would certainly take cuttings....

I am going to prune mine and plant it in the ground, somewhere. If it dies I can easily replace it, but its finishing flowering now and very, very straggly.

I think I'll take some insurance cuttings. My (was)lovely Red Clianthus ( lobster claw) is just a bare skeleton with just 3 green bits at the end, I've taken cuttings of this, hoping these will retain their leaves.
