Daphne tangutica

This is one of my daphnes that did not flower last Spring but looks great this year. My favorite thing about this daphne is how different it is from the others. The fragrance is different (still very nice though), the flowers are purple/white, the leaves are thicker and it produces small red berries. I also like that this one isn't as demanding with watering and might be the easiest daphne to grow.

13 years is a long time to keep a daphne going strong, you must be doing something right. I just saw some of your daphne pictures and they are impressive!

Ojibway- I have good conditions for growing daphnes and that is where a lot of my luck comes from.
