After I removed the Arum (cuckoo pint) from off the Zantedeschia, it is doing fine again.

Siris I really do think I'm cracking up, my plant opened today and I think it might be your dracunculus I really could have sworn it was the one from the greenplantswap site I have three from there but the others aren't flowering size yet , its opened a bit blotchy does the colour improve as it ages? I had a sniff and it does smell a bit but not that bad, flies were hovering round it though, I'll see if the colours improved tomorrow and take a picture, so sorry embarrassed or what lol.

Sorry that your Arums have not flowered. Don't worry Simbad. It was the blotchy stems that gave it away. It is a good job it's cold and wet, if it were warm, you would smell it at 20 metres, you won't need to go sniffing it! but they dont smell for more than a couple of days. Put a pic on anyway, some have smaller spathes than others, but the colour has always been this deep plum with a blackish coloured centre piece.

You would have to have a ' find that smell hunt'! I have in the past put a poly bag over it, because OH said it had to go.
