Flowering today, for the first time. Bought end last year in G centre, reduced to clear sale 50p in a sorry state, hence not previously put in my virtual garden. Clipped back, last year now 4 stems all with flower heads at top.

The little black 'knobs' at the end of the stalk are more unopened flowers, so plenty more to come, am pleased with it but I need to put it further back as at 75 cm it is too far forward.

Yes they do grow very large here do they not?

I actually moved it today, dug a spade's square of soil and shifted it to a vacated square.

Nice colour with a lovely leaf.

Just move it, as where placed at 75 cm will get too big. Dug a spade's square moved into another more appropriate place.

Hbird, it is looking good even after its move. Have you tried seed, if you still have the plant? I will cut mine back after flowering but not in to the very old wood.
