Eucomis comosa. One bulb was £3. I had a good rummage in the box and found this beauty. The stall holder try to charge me £9 on the basis there were 3 parts. Cheeky chap. didn't win though!

Great, these are expensive and it looks like you could have 3 spikes from this bulb. I like this interesting plant.

thats what I thought. I also have E. bicolour and E autumnalis so this will be another one to add to the list.
