A Poinsettia still blooming at USD. Usually, they are starting to go dormant (for about a month or so) at this time of year. Photo taken March 7, 2009.

Yes, these plants are still blooming. I wasn't actually correct when I said they should be going dormant now...I see many plants and trees still blooming. Eventually all the leaves will fall off and then a month or so after all the flowers and red bracts will drop also. Then it will go briefly dormant and start growing again.
