I'm not afraid of spiders at all, but here in south Brazil we have a lady spider called Lexoceles gaucho... a miotoxic spider with night habits who likes dark woods ...
certainly those roots are a lovely home ...
Loxoceles gaucho are such shy spiders as black bears redwoods habitants...but I'm not taking the chance.... :o))))
