WHOA!. I saw one in Los Angeles years ago. I thought it was big at 15' or so by a Taco stand of all things. They turn a nice shade of dark green I recall.

I see many big F. lyrata trees on my way to work. There's an area of Los Angeles around Montebello or Monterey Park where they grow to more than 50' (16m) tall. The soil is better in Los Angeles than San Diego so this tree grows much taller and wider there.
