This Bodhi tree in Balboa Park must have lost its leaves a couple of weeks ago...as it's full of new leaves like my plant. Photo taken August 13, 2011.

Here they usually loose their leaves in late spring and leaf out within a week or so. Although, the last two years they've been on a different cycle. I think it's because the last two springs have been cooler than normal.

Around here, they usually lose their leaves in late spring, and leaf out again at the beginning of the monsoons. Probably a lot like its behavior in India.
