Good its not been struck with the awful ash dieback.Wish the whopping great ash at the end of my garden was as pretty as this type - instead of seedlings coming up everywhere & dropping bits of dead branches & leaves that don't rot down well.

Yes - the 'ordinary' type do that here, Green finger. I frequently find seedlings in strange places! Our two weeping ash trees also drop dead branches - such a nuisance. :-/ This one is very well behaved - as well as gorgeous! I'm sure the colours are deeper than in previous year.
