Such lovely plants and so expensive. Shame I can't grow them as mine were victims of the red lily beetle

Sorry to hear about the beetles attack, Dorjac. They are so exotic looking..terrific plants.
I thought I'd lost my asiatics last year...had lily beetle and rabbit munchers...but things are starting to emerge and this morning I found sprouts!! All is not lost~

The only trouble is Lori once they pay you a visit it is difficult to shake them off. I noticed in this lovely garden, with a large group of volunteers working near, there was a Lily beetle on a blind plant in a different part of the garden. These lovely flowers were probably prime first year planting in a fresh spot. The bulbs are very expensive too. So I'm not spending to entertain this crafty villain.
