Very striking markings, I bet that it looks great in a clump!

He only has one flower out so far - they won't be long, though.

Great with the pale blue forget-me-nots too!

They're still all over the place, and they can stay for a while, Karen!

Yes, all that lovely pale blue froth! gorgeous! :)

How about some pink and white froth, as well? I grew them from seed - a mixed packet, and they still come up blue/pink/white, much to my surprise.

sounds beautiful! I am hoping to get some more Jack Frost and spread that through the border. I planted one plant last year and this spring it is looking fantastic. The silver leaves just bring so much light to the planting! Mind you, something will have to be sacrificed to make room for it!!

NOT one of your geraniums, I would suspect! lol.

Ha ha no chance, more likely to be a fern. They never get going until about August and they look very tatty!

1 Jun, 2010

Ferns are fine in a dark corner...not sure about in a border, though...I think you're right - dispensable. Jack Frost is MUCH nicer!

Oh yes, for sure! I was lucky today at Dobbies, they had some nice 'Purple Rain' so i got two more plants. Are yours nearly flowering? Mine aren't.

1 Jun, 2010

The two that survived are on the way - the buds are up about 2"...the others are ...errr...not. :-(((

1 Jun, 2010

No visible buds on mine yet, but they are growing ok, the main one and the bits I cut off it!

1 Jun, 2010

The new one has one small bud - not worth mentioning, really.....:-/

Oh well, next year..........there's always something that's not full on in any garden eh?

The Nurseryman came this afternoon (doing the plant stall for me) - he said, rightly, that everyone's garden is late - so people won't expect to see some plants in flower! That helped me to get things into perspective...well, a bit...lol.

1 Jun, 2010

Well, he's absolutely right isn't he. Great to have him doing the plant stall! Getting excited for you now B, can't wait to see the 'after' blog!

I took a couple of photos today...no time for more, but I'll try to get some more tomorrow. :-)))
