I looked for this plant for some time. Now that it's in flower, it's a bit disappointing, as the blooms are really small.

I also have what I think is Oxonianum Thurstonianum it is a lovely purple/red,that is growing just great.

I don't tend to go for the oxonianums, Mavis - only because they hybridise eventually, and can all end up looking the same. I wish they wouldn't!
I do have 'Katherine Adele' though. I hope she doesn't lose her pretty flowers! :-/

I have oxonianum Sherwood it is just a single and has the same small flower with not much show, it has not flowered very well this year.
