Helleborus thibetanus - 2018

Looking rather battered after a weekend of rain and snow. Flowering very early in the year, this hellebore soon goes dormant so mark the space and don't plant anything else on top of it. Likes a moist fertile soil in bright shade (it fades away in deep shade). Slugs and snails also like a nibble.

DD - I only got this going at the third attempt. It obviously heard about my "three strikes and you're out" policy.
