Usually a small shrub with very bright red flowers. It also doesn't flower very profusely.

I have this Dee and it is travelling upwards over my head and it flowers well too. Different climates different temperaments. Actually I have only two varieties, this one and the snow queen and both I planted for the leaves and not for the flowers. Wish the pumbago will thrive like they do.
