Looking huge again! This monster was last to bloom last year, first this. Almost a meter tall. Buds are out and should see blooms in another day or so. There is a second stem starting up now in it too!

Are sure it is Amaryllis and not a Triffid.

Thanks. This is easily the largest I've ever seen. Has a sweet scent too. I'm excited. I'll keep my eye on it Faerieflora, that it doesn't eat me one day.....lol. This one went dormant in December, the others I finally just cut the leaves, they weren't looking sleepy at all so I expect summer blooms on them.
Mageth, they are always taking over. I just skirt through between the banana and the peachy nameless one. Going up is a balancing act, but the light is so good there.....lol.

Oh yes, Terry. I've moved many to hanging positions, but then the steps were free, so in went a few more plants. My succulent shelf gave out yesterday and they are living temporarily living all across the kitchen counter! Can barely make coffee. :-) But i love them.

That's fine Greenthumb, as coffee is bad for you anyway !! Much better to be surrounded by these beauties ...

Yes, it is a bit precarious. Its more a ladder anyhow. The light is just above, so taking advantage of the light, I just can't get the plants off them. :-)
