This past couple of weeks have been amazing. A tropical storm is headed our way tomorrow, so I have tried to stake the taller plants and made bouquets of the peonies that would otherwise get flatted with the rain.

I staked the tallest irises and dead headed the wilted ones so as not to add extra weight and things were fine. Most of the bearded irises were on their last round of blooms at any rate.
