Did you watch Carol Klein TV program all about them
"plant odyssey" it was on this week
They are a bit like Geoffrey Smith, programs he would travel the world to make , if you are as old as me lol to remember.
ps Edith is my favorite
I only grow the one its called "Iris 'Little Chestnut'" a lady sent me from the Isle Of Man , after I kindly found out what it was called for her, I have a nice spot in the front garden for it. you would have to google for a picture as I only received it this year

Yes, I did see Carol Klein, I like her as a presenter, so much enthusiasm. Loved the Iris oncayclus paradoxa on the ladies' graves. I want, I want!!!
