Early planting = getting established earlier = more chance of flowering next year, depending on their size.

Thank you Thorney, thought I would pic my collections.
They are time consuming Oo, they don't like to be crowded out of the sunshine.

Gg, bought a pack of 100 black labels for my Iris collection, have about 20 left, maybe. This obsession has got to stop!!! My garden is small.
My front garden, excepting tight to the house, has sun all day,the back is enclosed and only a small patch has enough sun to give Iris the sun they need. This is where my crosses are, but not ideal, so take ages to mature to flowering size.
Gnarlyg. If you want some of my excesses, please P.M.me.
(Sorry, just gave away my only Edith Wolford spare).
