I didn't realise that there were so many different ones!

They really are beautiful Spritz.
Mine are also peeping through Amy but they are a long way from flowering.

I keep looking at the tiny pots in the GCs - to see if there are any more different ones! I think I'm getting an Uris reticulata obsession. LOL.

Love the colour..

What about you beloved geraniums Spritz, I thought that they were your obsession or are you now multi-obsessioning!
27 Feb, 2010
But they aren't even above the ground at the moment, are they? So these pretty little flowers can take the place of the geraniums for a short while. I planted more this afternoon - geraniums, I mean. :-))

How di I know that you would have a plausible excuse!
27 Feb, 2010
Well - I've told you before - I have to have flowers in the garden - that's really my obsession! ;-)
27 Feb, 2010
I'm with you all the way. Even I have a few little areas of colour.

Oooh! What of?
27 Feb, 2010
One or two primulas although they are looking very straggly with all the rain and a couple of nice clumps of snowdrops. The dogwood (Cornus sibirica) has some nice pinky coloured stems and a shrub which for the moment I can't think of the name off has bright yellow leaves and my Trachelospermum's leaves are a nice deep red.

Have you got rain today?
I like Cornus...all the year round! Poor primulas! They're suffering like the pansies, aren't they.
28 Feb, 2010
Have we got rain? Boy have we got rain! Yes the poor primulas and pansies are in a sorry state. There are areas of my garden which are under about an inch of water and it's still raining although it has eased up a little and the forecast for tomorrow is dry.
What's really worrying is that there is this bloke, Noah I think his name is who keeps asking if I have any wood I can spare.
28 Feb, 2010
I think you've got the remnants of that storm. Our son has gone off on a ferry from Plymouth - we all thought that the ferries across the Bay of Biscay wouln't run, but the storm has left that area - and sorry - but you've got it!
It rained here this morning, but the sun is attempting to shine now. I am going to attempt to drag myself outside and get on with feeding the clematis. Poor things - they're hungry!
Better weather forecast tomorrow - well, it's about time! Noah can do without the wood, I hope. ;-0

Thank goodness we haven't had it as bad as they have in France and Spain. According to a web report 15 have been killed by storms in France and three in Spain.
28 Feb, 2010
That's dreadful. I'm not surprised, though - the forecast said the winds would be over 100 mph. So glad our son was 24 hours later. I'd have been worried sick!
