The pink capsules always look pretty against the yellow flowers.

It is an uncommon variety, the species flowers 2 months earlier and the seed capsules begin green and change to brown. The capsules on this one stay that color for a while and get pretty good sized too. It's a neat tree for late season flowers and develops good character when it gets older.
