And they last for ages. I've got one flowering its heart out right now. I can't remember planting it, but I think I must have done, last year!

I put in a lot (for me) of new plants last year. Some of them were perennials, but not all, so I got a nice surprise when so many re-emerged this year. I really should start to keep some records! My biggest nuisance is digging up bulbs when I'm moving plants. Being laid back about the garden is all very well, but not always the best thing lol!
