One I didn't even get into the ground overwintered in its pot! It,s going in the ground this year by the porch.

I can't imagine a small one. This one will only have six or seven nice fronds reaching a meter at best. Might be bigger this year. Some when I got this were taller than me, 6ft. They can be very tall and really form a large clump left for years. It is a native here and always few long fronds.

It two feet tall now !!! And wild in our poplar forests, so will make it through almost any winter. :-)
