First flowers on this tender climber often grown as an annual, grown from seed from Simbad.

Mine are in the garden up the fences, different aspects. A cat? rooted one out, so put back in a hospital pot to recover. Think I will keep this one in the conservatory to overwinter.

I do like the colour, am hoping it will overwinter out doors, have put it next to my Guinee rose cutting.

They will survive mild winters in the ground. The trick is to start them early enough to get woody growth by the first frosts.

Mines flowering too, I pulled them out in one pot thinking they wouldn't come back but in two other pots they did !!
