Very nice DD. I'm confused though....Here Catalpa are trees with long bean pod seed casings. Is this a seedling?

It can't be the same type of Catalpa then DD. We have lots of Catalpas growing here and our winters can easily reach -25C and our summers +40C. The ones that grow here are Catalpa speciosa.
