My mom's Gold Fish plant which she has had on her front porch for at least 15 years...it gets cut back every year. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area. Photo taken Nov. 3, 2007.

Me too. : > ) My mother doesn't do anything special to this plant...she gives it a little bit of water when she remembers...and that's it. Go figure!

It needs regular water and mild temps...and it's happy. It's classified to grow only in USDA Zones 10B through 11...however, my mom lives close to San Francisco Bay which is zone 10A. It grows superbly there.
