Well, the self set nicotiana has really come into its own and making a splendid show.. Just love it's scent of an evening..:)) in the background are white Scabious, the bees love them..

Not heard it called that before Lori...maybe because suddenly there's one growing on its own, which is exactly what has happened here.. That's a shame, that they haven't germinated....there will be lots of seeds from these, can post you some on when it's time...

how I love these tall Nicotiana. I came across an envelope of saved seeds for Only the Lonely (which is a fancy name for the silvestris..) and put it in a new bed. they're not coming up as I had hoped. The seeds were old and obviously they're not viable.. bit of a disappointment but totally my own fault. They produce lots of seeds.
